Wash
Use lukewarm water in the first instance and let the garment soak for 5 minutes. Then put it in cool water. Don’t start rubbing it and giving it a hard time. Massage a little massage locally on the stains and let the special detergent work its magic.
Proper drying
To dry your knitwear you need to leave it on a flat surface. Under no circumstances spread it out with pegs and the like!
Regular cleaning
You can air your favorite wool on a daily basis if you think it is necessary. Besides, it shouldn’t be washed all the time as well because it will damage the wool.
Ironing
The most common way of ironing is by steam. But if your knit is quite delicate and delicate then cover it with a cloth and iron carefully on top. Consult the instructions on the label. Usually sweaters don’t need ironing though.
Storage
Don’t hang your knitted sweaters in the wardrobe. The hangers overhang the shoulders and your sweater will be ruined very quickly. Fold them very carefully and place them on a shelf or in a drawer.
Pilling
It can happen after many uses. You will find special razors in the trade to remove knots. In many cases ordinary razors are also used, you just have to use them very carefully.
